Why is the cost for traveling higher for moving trucks? The costs of driving time are normally higher because moving trucks can’t travel at the same speed as regular vehicles on highways. They also can’t access any non-truck routes which results in longer mileage.

If I have a limited budget, can I hire movers to pack and move some of my items? Yes, you should hire professional movers and packers to transport large, awkward items such as desks, pianos and sofas and breakable items such as china and glasses. Make sure to hire movers for heavy items that must be hoisted into or out of your home because you risk serious injury if you try to move them yourself.
